Program Highlights

Housing Program

Milestones housing offers a Transitional Living Program, Independent Living Program, and an Emancipated Youth Program. All programs offer individuals the opportunity to live on their own in local apartments. All programs offer service coordination from case managers who make periodic home-based contacts with clients.

Education Program

The pre-independence education program provides a range of educational classes and assistance to prepare our clients for self-sufficiency. These include GED preparation, a diploma program, computer lab, tutoring by University of Dayton students, and other important educational tools.

Job Preparation

Employment assistance is available to the clients on an ongoing basis. Clients are assisted in eliminating barriers that exist between the client and employment or better employment. This assistance includes: resume preparation, interviewing skills, interview attire, and an employment database.

Case Management & Therapeutic Services

The staff of case managers provide stabilization services which include a thorough client assessment and ongoing case management services. A therapist provides both group and individual counseling as additional client support.

Follow-up Services

  • Case management to ensure continued stability
  • Crisis intervention
  • Continued support and counseling for individuals
  • Office, home or school visits
